Robert McLaughlin - Lot 1 Candidate For Vice President
Statement
My name is Robert McLaughlin, and I am the owner of Lot #1 in Four Rivers. I have been a property owner in the community since 2020 and am currently preparing to begin construction of our home this year. My family and I are very much looking forward to completing our home and fully embracing the lifestyle that makes Four Rivers such a special place to live.
I have been a resident of Palm City since 2012, where I currently own a home in Hammock Creek Estates. I am also a lifelong resident of the Treasure Coast, having grown up here fishing, boating, and enjoying the waterways. I truly believe there is no better place to live than Palm City, and Four Rivers represents one of the most unique and valuable waterfront communities in our area.
Professionally, I am a local business owner with over 60 employees across several healthcare companies, including Access 365 Urgent Care, Back In Action Medical Center, and Best Life Primary Care, serving Palm City and Port St. Lucie. My role requires careful financial oversight, long-term planning, regulatory compliance, and the ability to solve problems efficiently.
In addition to my business experience, I have spent many years in community and board service. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Palm City Chamber of Commerce for the past six years, including participation on the Executive Director Selection Committee. I am also a trustee with the Stuart-Martin County Chamber of Commerce and have previously served as President of the Palm Beach County Seminoles Booster Club. These roles have reinforced the importance of collaboration, transparency, and thoughtful leadership.
Within Four Rivers, I have made it a priority to stay engaged. I have attended nearly all community meetings and multiple board meetings, as I believe informed participation is essential to good governance. I also have the flexibility in my schedule to dedicate meaningful time and attention to POA matters and to help move projects forward when needed.
As a candidate for Vice President, my focus is on listening, working collaboratively, and preserving the character and value of Four Rivers. Our community has grown significantly in value over the years, and it is important that we continue to be thoughtful stewards—maintaining our infrastructure, planning responsibly for the future, and ensuring that decisions are made with both long-time residents and future homeowners in mind.
On a personal note, I am married with five children, two still at home—an eight-year-old son and a thirteen-year-old daughter. Family, community, and long-term stability are very important to me. I consider myself a strong problem-solver and a unifier, and I believe those qualities are especially valuable in a POA leadership role.
It would be an honor to serve the Four Rivers community as Vice President, and I appreciate your consideration and support.
